Mama to Mama Birth STories Podcast

I gave birth to baby Gray in May of 2022 and one of the things that gave me strength, and a sense of support throughout my journey of pregnancy, birth and postpartum was listening to birth stories. I felt mentally prepared for labour having listened to lots of different stories My absolute favourite podcasts were generally in the US or Australia. It occurred to me that it would be nice to be able to relate to stories from the UK (that being said stories from across the world are very welcome) as some of the terminology, healthcare and birthing options differ from country to country. With some encouragement from my husband this led to the conception of my own podcast.

Although I have a medical background I am not a midwife. Pregnancy, labour, delivery and postpartum are definitely not my area of expertise! I’m simply here as a mom, trying to create a space for other mothers to come together and share their unique and empowering stories.
